Thank you for your interest in praying for the work of Rafiki! God has truly blessed us with wonderful partners who faithfully bring the work before his throne.

We invite you to read this special message from Executive Director Karen Elliott before beginning your prayer journey with us.

Dear Rafikis,

The verse that continually comes to mind during this 40th year of Rafiki’s mission is this:

“For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows your going through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing” (Deuteronomy 2:7).

This is so true. For its forty years of service to the Lord, the Rafiki Foundation has found God faithful, and we have never lacked. The mission and vision to assist the church in cultivating the next generation of godly contributors in Africa and the world would not be possible without our Lord and the faithful prayers of people like you.  

Through your service, prayer, and financial support, God has allowed Rafiki to provide Bible studies, Bibles, and commentaries to thousands in the church in Africa. He has also enabled us to provide school curriculum and Sunday school materials to our church partners.

With so many blessings, the demand for the Rafiki Bible Study and classical Christian curriculum grows, as does our need for more missionaries, faculty, and resources.  We are continuing to seek God’s wisdom, support, provision, and guidance for the years ahead. Below is a list of specific needs you can lift up in prayer. We are asking the Lord to:

• Present every Village with even more opportunities to disciple those in our surrounding communities.

• Grant salvation to all Rafiki Students and members of the Widows Program.

• Strengthen Rafiki’s partner denominations as they stand firm for the gospel.

• Grow Rafiki to 70 missionaries on the field by this time in 2026.

• Grant wisdom as we steward all the resources God graciously gives us.

• Enable another 100 schools in Africa to use Rafiki’s Education System by 2026.

• Allow Rafiki’s Education System to go to other continents throughout the next year.

• Raise up new prayer groups across every state in America and other countries.

• Add 350 new Rafiki Bible Study groups by this time next year.

• Provide all the financial resources needed to fulfill this vision.

• Provide the funding for a permanent school building for Rafiki Classical Academy.

• Awaken the church around the world.

• 26 church partner denominations across our 10 countries, representing over 75 million Christians.

• 125 outreach schools utilizing the Rafiki Curriculum and Bible study, influencing over 12,000 students.

• 10 Rafiki Classical Christian Schools in Africa bringing Bible study, two daily meals, and excellent education to nearly 4000 students.

• Seen our Rafiki Classical Academy USA grow to almost 70 students in just two years.
