Rafiki Day of Prayer

Join us July 21, 2025 from around the world

Prayer is a vital part of our mission.

It is our first step as we look at our needs for the upcoming year.

Reflecting On Answered Prayers

  • Comfort for the Broken

With the skills and passion God granted Comfort, she believes God has called her to a life in missions.

  • From Tragedy to Triumph

Upon the death of their parents, the twins Leonard and Boniface became orphans at a very young age.

Pray With Us

All glory to God! The Rafiki Foundation has reached the 40-year mark in our service to God. The mission and vision to assist the church in cultivating the next generation of godly contributors in Africa and the world would not be possible without our Lord and the faithful prayers of people like you.

Through your service, prayer, and financial support, God has allowed Rafiki to provide Bible studies, Bibles, and commentaries to our friends in Africa. He has also enabled us to provide school curriculum and Sunday school materials to our church partners. This year, we have:

  • 26 church parnter denominations across our 10 countries

  • 125 outreach schools utilizing the Rafiki Curriculum and Bible study

  • # of Christians

With so many blessings, the demand for the Rafiki Bible Study and classical Christian curriculum grows, as does our need for more missionaries, faculty, and resources.  We are continuing to seek God’s wisdom, support, provision, and guidance for the years ahead. Below is a list of specific needs that you can be praying for. We are asking the Lord to:

  • Allow every Village to make a positive impact spiritually in the surrounding communities.

  • Grant salvation to all Rafiki Students and members of the Widows Program.

  • Strengthen partner denominations as they stand firm for the gospel.

  • Grow Rafiki to 70 missionaries on the field by the end of 2025.

  • Grant wisdom as we steward all the resources God graciously gives us.

  • Awaken the church around the world.

More about the Rafiki Foundation

  • Learn More About Rafiki

Rafiki means "friend" in Swahili and depicts the purpose of the Foundation—to help people know God and raise their standard of living with excellence and integrity. We do this through Bible Study and classical Christian education.

  • Child Sponsorship

For many years, Rafiki has made our classical Christian education available to impoverished children in the community. We believe that the children of today are the church of tomorrow. You can help transform a life through child sponsorship.
